Toyota began establishing an independent factory for forklift production in the early 1960s. Over the years, the company developed its products to enter global markets with its renowned quality, reliability, and durability under the toughest conditions. Toyota forklifts stood out by meeting all market needs. Their presence began spreading in the Arabian Gulf in the early 1970s with diesel-powered forklifts of 2.5-ton and 3-ton capacities, equipped with the Toyota 2J engine — many of which are still operational today. We take pride in providing parts for these models.
As work environments and industries evolved, Toyota continued to enhance its forklifts, expanding their weight capacities from 1.5 tons to 10 tons. The company also upgraded hydraulic systems, transmission systems, and engines. Among the engines introduced in Toyota forklifts are the 2Z and 1DZ, as well as six-cylinder engines for forklifts over 3 tons, including the 2H, 11Z, 12Z, 13Z, and 14Z. The range also includes gasoline and LPG engines such as the 5K and 4Y, along with electric forklifts powered by rechargeable liquid batteries.
